Are you ready to welcome a teenager into your family for a few weeks (boy or girl, 12 to 17 years old) and integrate him into your Christian family life?

The principle of exchanges relies on a connection that FIDEOJOY makes between you and a foreign family.

Both you and the foreign family will host each others’ teenagers in your home in your home.

FIDEOJOY’s envisions that these exchanges will provide a valuable opportunity for our young people to experience family and Catholic life (Sunday Mass) and discover a part of the local Catholic life (involve him/her in a prayer vigil, a Catholic Scout weekend, a visit to a place of pilgrimage or a beautiful church, etc... )

The "Linguistic Exchanges" services are in great demand.

We recommend applying in advance (6-9 months) in order to find a suitable family.

Practical information

This offer is suitable for teenagers from 12 to 17 years old. Some flexibility on dates is required.

Imagine that the young person is coming to join your family for a few weeks and that he will participate in all activities your child usually does: for example, if your child goes to a scout camp, ask the leaders if it is possible to host his correspondent during the camp! Your child will be hosted abroad and you will also host his correspondent. Please plan activities which will be of interest to the young correspondent. In short, welcome him as you would like your child to be welcomed into a host family.

After the completion of your file, we look for a family which corresponds to your family profile.

In the rare event that a host family is not a good match, FIDEOJOY will make every efforts to find a replacement family, if possible .

Travel costs are at your own expense.

Rates

From €650 for an exchange in England, Ireland, Spain or France, regardless of duration (excluding flight tickets and insurance).
From €990 for an exchange in the United States, regardless of duration (excluding flight tickets and insurance).

If for any reason, you're not in position to send your teenager abroad, you can host only and get donation for your parish or a catholic charity of your choice!
